Perspective
We often hear powerful stories of gratitude from patients, caregivers, oncology teams, and families. Stories of new diagnoses and the uncertainty that follows remind us why we serve the young adult community.

We witness the resilience of those in remission and the strength they carry. We grieve the ones we’ve lost and the heartbreak left behind. Yet we also find joy in moments of hope, in shared strength, and in the connections, we build, and also through our monthly Hangouts, spaces of a welcoming vibe of understanding, and encouragement.

Within our organization, we share life’s challenges; family, health, and personal journeys Most are local, while others travel from out of town to be part of something greater.

Lishy’s Gift is not just about cancer. It’s about resilience, connection, and community far beyond cancer.  It’s about hope. In every smile, every hug, every act of compassion, we are reminded: No one is alone. Our stories are not the same; but together, we move forward with strength, love, and encouragement drawn from our shared experience. Read More

The Resilience Valley Survivorship Program meets on the last Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM at Twisted Track Brewpub.

 

Our Impact in 2024 and 2025
• In 2024, Lishy’s Gift provided more than $34,000 in direct support.
• In 2025, we’ve already distributed over $14,000 in comfort bags, caregiver gifts, and expanded resources.
• January 2025 marked the launch of our Resilience Valley Survivor and Mentorship Program to support young adults beyond treatment.
